Ascott has presented a donation of USD56,100 to Plan International on behalf of CapitaLand Hope Foundation to support its Kids' Food Fund programme which will benefit more than 6,500 underprivileged children across 14 elementary schools in Chunhua County, Shaanxi province in central China. The donation will go towards the children's nutritional needs such as providing food fortified with micronutrients.

Plan International is one of the oldest and largest children's organisations in the world, and this is the second year that Ascott has supported the Kids' Food Fund programme in Chunhua. Ascott's staff and residents in Xi'an also travelled to Chunhua to visit Plan International's local office and Bei Guang Primary School to learn about the conditions of the school.

At Bei Guang Primary School, Ascott's staff interacted with the children through various activities including a drawing and painting session. The children also received health and educational tips from Ascott's staff with the aim to create a better future for the children.
